Manufactured
from high quality, field tested materials, the products durability is
exceeded only by their genuine good looks. The greatest complement has been
being asked if it is real wood! The “wood” panel material (simulated
Marine Teak) and the “wood” outer edge trim (simulated Santa Rosa Oak) is
O.E.M. approved and manufactured to ISO 9001 standards. The application
specific 3M attachment system and high caliber materials allows them to
guarantee the “woody” kits to you, the original purchaser, for the life
of your Cruiser.
This
is not just another “graphics” kit, or expensive, maintenance intense,
“real” wood. The dark “Marine Teak” panels are a heavy “Di-Noc”
vinyl which is applied with the supplied location patterns according to the
detailed instructions. The outer Santa Rosa Oak trim is a raised, quarter
round, molding that covers the edge of and rises above the Marine Teak
panels, giving the panel a true 3-deminsional light and dark surface just as
the original woody's had. Included in the photos are detail shots showing the
significance of this combination of materials.
All
components are molded to shape, cut to size, and supplied with location
patterns. The detailed instructions are designed for first time installers,
and consists of two books, a text and a photo book, explaining and showing
all the details of the installation. It requires not so much skill as it does
thoroughness and patience. This is an all day job for the first-timer.
